Senior Data Scientist:
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Data Scientist for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Senior Data Scientist - Job Description:
Citi is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its HR Data Science team to transform workforce data into actionable insights that shape global people strategies. In this role, you will lead analytics projects from data engineering to stakeholder-ready applications, applying advanced data science methods and AI tools to address significant challenges within a large, international organization.

Senior Data Scientist - Responsibilities:
• Analyse large, complex datasets to provide data-driven recommendations for organizational decisions.
• Design and build analytical applications, including interactive dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Extract, transform, and model data using Oracle SQL and Python, employing advanced machine learning and automation.
• Document data processes to ensure outputs are reproducible and compliant.
• Apply GenAI tools to manage multiple analytical workstreams with accuracy.
• Lead analytics projects independently, from concept to delivery.

Senior Data Scientist - Mandatory Skills:
• 8 to 10 years of experience in a quantitative or data-intensive field.
• Expert-level proficiency in Oracle SQL and Python.
• Experience with building on LLMs for advanced analytics.
• Ability to build data applications for non-technical audiences.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with GenAI tools for managing projects.
• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.

Senior Data Scientist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with HR or people analytics data.
• Background in the financial services or credit card industry.
• Experience with quantitative modelling in a regulated environment.
• Collaboration experience with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across business areas.

Senior Data Scientist – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position ending on April 1, 2027.

Mississauga, CAN, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 days in the office.
