Senior DevOps Specialist:
On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for a Senior DevOps Specialist for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior DevOps Specialist - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical project focused on implementing cloud-based solutions and CI/CD pipelines. The position requires expertise in enhancing and maintaining cloud environments to support digital product deployment and performance monitoring.

Senior DevOps Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Assess frameworks, platforms, or tech stacks to create cloud-based solutions
• Design, build, and support cloud environments for digital product deployment
• Develop and administer CI/CD pipelines to support continuous development and deployment
• Monitor and assess application performance in cloud environments
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues

Senior DevOps Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience in leading cloud platforms such as AWS, OpenShift
• Experience in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments like CentOS, Ubuntu
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, Java, JavaScript, Node
• Experience with build tools like Git, Ansible, CloudFormation, ytt
• Experience in containerization and container-based virtualization technology like Docker, K8S
• GitLab CI/CD expertise

Senior DevOps Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Public sector experience
• Experience in executing Systems Integration using Linux Shell scripting
• Experience in building and using APIs or other integration endpoints
• Applying industry web, architectural, and security standards and best practices

Senior DevOps Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

ASAP.

Senior DevOps Specialist - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in the office.
