Senior Financial Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst for a 2-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Financial Analyst - Job Description:
The role involves supporting a high-performing finance team during a critical year-end reporting period. The successful candidate will engage in month-end close activities, financial reporting, annual reporting requirements, journal entries, and variance analysis. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with senior finance professionals to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Senior Financial Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Perform variance analysis on income statements and balance sheets.
• Assist with annual reporting deliverables.
• Generate and analyze financial reports from SAP.
• Review financial information for accuracy and completeness.
• Support financial statement preparation and reporting requirements.
• Assist with process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore finance teams.
• Ensure reporting deadlines and service levels are met.

Senior Financial Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience.
• Strong background in accounting, financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Experience with month-end close processes.
• SAP experience (required).
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience preparing financial reporting packages and annual reporting.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.

Senior Financial Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA.
• Big 5 Bank or financial services experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Power Query, Power Automate, Alteryx.
• Process automation experience.

Senior Financial Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 2-month contract position with potential for a 1-month extension depending on business needs.

Senior Financial Analyst - Start Date:
ASAP.

Senior Financial Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence every Wednesday, Thursday, and the 4th Friday of each month.
