Senior Instructional Designer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Instructional Designer for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Instructional Designer - Job Description:
The Senior Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing and developing learning and performance-focused solutions for business initiatives at Virtual Connect. The role involves enabling visible and measurable improvements in human performance, development, and productivity through effective instructional design. This is a remote position requiring independent work and virtual interaction with team members and stakeholders.

Senior Instructional Designer - Responsibilities:
• Participate or act as a lead on multiple internal learning projects varying in size and complexity
• Define project scope, analyze expectations of target audiences, conduct needs assessments, and determine learning objectives
• Design and develop instructional materials for both face-to-face and web-based delivery
• Write, storyboard, and edit learning and performance support interventions
• Develop measurement and evaluation tools to test the effectiveness of the training
• Advise design/development team members on delivery methods from a design perspective
• Liaise with Subject Matter Experts for content validation

Senior Instructional Designer - Mandatory Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task on complex projects
• Experience in design and development of training for self-directed, facilitated classroom, and web-based methods
• Current knowledge of instructional design process and techniques
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical persons
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in eLearning applications such as Storyline 360, Rise 360, Vyond, and/or Camtasia
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design applications like Adobe Illustrator

Senior Instructional Designer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in Financial Services and/or Contact Centres
• Formal Instructional Design or e-Learning certification/accreditation
• Ability to network with industry contacts for competitive insights
• Flexibility and adaptability to change
• Strong team player with interpersonal skills

Senior Instructional Designer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

ASAP.

Senior Instructional Designer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office.
