Senior Integration and Identity Migration SME:
On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Senior Integration and Identity Migration SME for a 3 to 6 months role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Montreal office.

Senior Integration and Identity Migration SME - Job Description:
Our client is undergoing a user migration as part of a larger integration project. They require a senior engineer with extensive migration experience to serve as the subject matter expert (SME), focusing on potential issues related to user identity. The role involves anticipating risks and managing technical details to support the client’s lead in integration meetings.

Senior Integration and Identity Migration SME - Responsibilities:
• Serve as the technical SME for end-user migration planning and execution across integration scenarios.
• Identify and document dependencies and failure points tied to user identity and accounts.
• Plan and execute user moves between hybrid Microsoft 365 environments, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power BI content and permissions.
• Map every dependency tied to a person’s identity, including Okta, Entra ID, and Active Directory, to ensure users maintain access post-migration.
• Assess and plan for network, endpoint, and access components affecting migrating users.
• Build migration runbooks, risk registers, and checklists for each workstream.
• Attend integration meetings and represent technical needs on the client’s behalf.
• Advise on sequencing, pilot approach, rollback, and user communications for each cutover.
• Support troubleshooting during and after each migration wave.

Senior Integration and Identity Migration SME - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years in infrastructure, identity, or network engineering at a senior level.
• Proven experience in large-scale user and identity migrations.
• Hands-on experience migrating between hybrid Microsoft 365 environments.
• Working knowledge of Okta and its integration with Entra ID.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Experience with proxy and secure web gateway platforms, preferably Zscaler and Symantec.
• Experience with VPN solutions and remote access design.

Senior Integration and Identity Migration SME – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Intune endpoint management and conditional access.
• Familiarity with application integrations and third-party migration tooling for Microsoft 365.
• Bilingual English and French.

Senior Integration and Identity Migration SME – Assignment Length:
The contract is for 3 to 6 months, with a possible extension.

ASAP.

Montreal, Quebec, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 days onsite.
