Senior Investment Data Analyst:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Investment Data Analyst for a 12 month contract role.

Senior Investment Data Analyst - Job Description:
The Senior Investment Data Analyst will support the Investments Data Team, focusing on providing high-quality insights across trading, portfolio management, and accounting-related data flows. This role involves working with front-office technologies and investment management stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Senior Investment Data Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Partner with investment managers and front-office teams to understand business needs and data requirements.
• Run SQL queries, perform data validation, and reconcile data between systems.
• Analyze data from Aladdin, Bloomberg, and other trading/accounting platforms.
• Use SQL/Python to compare datasets across platforms and identify discrepancies.
• Translate technical findings into clear business language for stakeholders.
• Contribute to ongoing data initiatives within the Investments Data Team.

Senior Investment Data Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 6–10+ years of experience in data analysis or investment-data roles.
• Strong understanding of investment management and front-office concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Aladdin or Bloomberg from a data perspective.
• Ability to write and run SQL queries and perform data investigations.
• Experience with Python for scripting or data comparison tasks.
• Background in asset management or pension funds.
• Ability to communicate effectively with investment managers.

Senior Investment Data Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• CFA Level I–III or equivalent investment-domain credential.
• Experience in a competitor organization within the investment-management ecosystem.
• Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.

Senior Investment Data Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract to start

ASAP.

Senior Investment Data Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in office.
