Senior IT Security Architect:
On behalf of our Automotive client, Procom is searching for a Senior IT Security Architect for an 8 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Markham, Ontario office.

Senior IT Security Architect - Job Description:
The Senior IT Security Architect will oversee the enterprise security program, ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards and Canadian regulations. This role involves strategic governance of security architecture across cloud and on-premises environments, focusing on embedding controls at design time.

Senior IT Security Architect - Responsibilities:
• Define and own the client's enterprise security architecture
• Develop and maintain security architecture blueprints and roadmaps
• Embed security-by-design and zero-trust principles into technology solutions
• Govern identity and access management architecture
• Lead threat modeling during major design and release cycles
• Validate security architecture for SaaS onboarding and vendor solutions
• Define and enforce enterprise security architecture standards
• Lead architecture governance within the SDT/J-Flow framework
• Act as the primary security architecture partner for solution design teams
• Align architecture with operational security capabilities

Senior IT Security Architect - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in IT architecture roles
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure
• Proven track record in embedding compliance architecture
• Demonstrated experience governing enterprise technology architecture

Senior IT Security Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or Business Administration
• Experience with Canadian privacy and IT governance requirements
• CIPP/C certification
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification
• Experience with automotive industry standards

Senior IT Security Architect – Assignment Length:
This is an 8 month contract position.
