Senior Manager, Climate Performance
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Manager, Climate Performance for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Manager, Climate Performance - Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Climate Performance will focus on managing stakeholder relationships and working cross-functionally to collect and analyze data for strategic climate metrics. The role involves leading quarterly internal climate reporting, developing narratives, and preparing executive-level presentations and dashboards to communicate insights for decision-making.

Senior Manager, Climate Performance - Responsibilities:
• Manage stakeholder relationships and work cross-functionally across teams to collect, analyze, and prepare data for strategic climate metrics
• Lead quarterly internal reporting on climate, including product roadmap/vision, stakeholder engagement, narrative development, project management, and controls/review
• Prepare and summarize quarterly dashboards, PowerPoint presentations, and briefings for senior leader, executive, and Board review and decision making
• Own and manage methodologies and related process documentation for measurement of key climate metrics
• Create, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, and oversee delivery against tight timelines
• Work directly with business stakeholders to enable granular measurement of sectoral and line-of-business performance progress
• Lead and support ad-hoc climate- and/or data-related strategy projects

Senior Manager, Climate Performance - Mandatory Skills:
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or other relevant discipline
• 6+ years of professional work experience in management consulting, financial services, sustainability/cleantech, or an entrepreneurial environment
• Knowledge of emerging climate technologies and/or relevant climate methodologies and concepts such as sustainable finance and financed emissions
• Proven working experience as a project manager, ideally in the financial services industry
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Experience working with large datasets in Excel and interacting with technical teams
• Skills and experience building executive-facing dashboards using data analytics or AI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)

Senior Manager, Climate Performance – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in sustainable finance and financed emissions
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities under tight timelines
• Experience in narrative development for executive-level communications
• Familiarity with the Energy Supply Ratio and bank’s Low-Carbon and Renewables lending commitments
• Experience in stakeholder engagement at all levels of a large organization
