On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering Emerging Technology for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering Emerging Technology - Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering Emerging Technology, is responsible for embedding cybersecurity considerations and governance across emerging technology initiatives and AI-enabled capabilities. This role involves leading the secure adoption of new technologies while maintaining a strong security posture as cyber threats evolve.
Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering Emerging Technology - Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain AI-related security requirements and control recommendations.
• Ensure security configurations and standards comply with policies.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of AI security standards.
• Provide guidance to Technology teams on security expectations for AI-enabled solutions.
• Advise senior management on AI and emerging technology security risks.
• Conduct security risk assessments for AI and emerging technologies.
• Participate in the development of the Cyber Security Program.
• Oversee security practices and ensure mitigating processes are implemented.
• Conduct security assessments of emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions.
Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering Emerging Technology - Mandatory Skills:
• University degree in Computer Science.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture and cloud security.
• Working knowledge of third-party risk management and data protection.
• Understanding of emerging cyber threats and AI-related attack vectors.
• Experience in cybersecurity governance frameworks and policies.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex risks.
Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering Emerging Technology – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Additional certifications in cloud security or AI security.
• Experience in secure adoption of emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of security governance frameworks (NIST, ISO).
• Experience with cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering Emerging Technology – Assignment Length:
This is an 8-month contract position.
