Senior Manager - Grid Technology Domain Architect:
On behalf of our Utilities client, Procom is searching for a Senior Manager - Grid Technology Domain Architect for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Barrie office.

Senior Manager - Grid Technology Domain Architect - Job Description:
This role involves leading the architectural strategy and governance of our clients Grid Technology platforms, including ADMS, EMS, GIS, SCADA, DERMS, and related grid control systems. The Senior Manager will ensure alignment with business strategy and enterprise standards while contributing to the modernization of the Ontario electricity system.

Senior Manager - Grid Technology Domain Architect - Responsibilities:
• Assist the Director – Enterprise Architecture in work planning and setting strategic direction for grid technologies
• Provide governance oversight in the performance of Grid Technology investments
• Track industry trends and collaborate with internal and external partners
• Assess system performance and implement architectural practices
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Senior Manager - Grid Technology Domain Architect - Mandatory Skills:
• Relevant experience in governance and management of operational technology platforms
• Deep understanding of grid control systems and their integration with enterprise systems
• Relevant experience in the ITIL framework and other IT best practices
• Experience in financial management and control of GT programs
• Ability to lead and work in multi-disciplinary teams

Senior Manager - Grid Technology Domain Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with test automation tools
• Experience leading diverse teams
• Previous experience with Hydro One or similar utilities companies
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills

Senior Manager - Grid Technology Domain Architect – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

ASAP.

Senior Manager - Grid Technology Domain Architect - Assignment Location:
Barrie, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence 2 days per week.
