Senior .Net Developer:
On behalf of Automotive client, Procom is searching for a Senior .Net Developer for an 8 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Cambridge, Ontario office.

Senior .Net Developer - Job Description:
The Senior .Net Developer will be involved in developing and implementing mission-critical industrial applications. This role requires processing concepts from end users through Agile Methodology to realize them in a high-tech environment with access to cutting-edge tech stacks such as containers, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Senior .Net Developer - Responsibilities:
• System Design
• Implementation
• Integration
• System support and maintenance

Senior .Net Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• Expert knowledge in at least 2 of the following: .NET 6+ APIs, SPA web development with Angular, .NET WPF Desktop Development, .NET MAUI or Xamarin
• Minimum 2 years experience in developing multi-threaded & concurrent applications
• Experience with socket programming and asynchronous applications
• Proficiency in implementing design patterns and software architectures
• Familiarity with Linux runtime environment and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Strong system design and computer networks knowledge
• Experience with PostgreSQL and event-driven architecture

Senior .Net Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools for software build, deployment, and maintenance
• Understanding of industrial protocols (OPC, PLC, Modbus, RFID)
• Experience with message queues (MQTT, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, RHEL)

This is an 8 month contract position.

Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 4 days in the office.
