Senior .NET Software Engineer:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior .NET Software Engineer for a 5 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior .NET Software Engineer - Job Description:
Join our Platform and Engineering team to lead and participate in the design, development, and deployment of .NET REST APIs and microservices. This role focuses on enhancing our current platform with emerging API technologies and ensuring robust service designs in a Kubernetes environment.

Senior .NET Software Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Lead and participate in the design, development, and deployment of .NET REST APIs and microservices using Docker and Kubernetes
• Ensure service designs follow approved architecture
• Learn and incorporate emerging API technologies into APIs
• Build event-driven services using Kafka
• Use and enhance DevOps tools and processes for CI/CD, including Jenkins, Artifactory, BitBucket, and more
• Identify defects in services, debug, and provide effective solutions
• Coordinate with both onshore and offshore teams for coding, testing, and implementation activities
• Produce and maintain documentation and records in compliance with the SDLC requirements
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, and interface design
• Contribute to defining timelines and project plans; analyze and estimate feasibility, cost, time, and scope
• Ensure information security standards are incorporated into all solutions
• Contribute to the ongoing support, stability, and performance of application systems in production

Senior .NET Software Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of development skills with full application development life cycle and systems integration experience
• Strong working experience with .Net APIs, REST, SOAP, JSON, Open API, Swagger, MS SQL, web services, and web hosting technologies
• Strong DevOps experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 1+ years’ experience working with Event Driven Architecture
• Post-secondary Computer Science diploma or degree

Senior .NET Software Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Kubernetes, Okta, Kafka, AWS, MongoDB
• Experience with Group Benefits products and business domains
• Exposure to Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integration architectures and technologies

Senior .NET Software Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a 5 month contract position.

ASAP.

Senior .NET Software Engineer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid position with 1 day in office.
