Senior .NET Software Engineer:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior .NET Software Engineer for a contract role.

Senior .NET Software Engineer - Job Description:
The Platform and Engineering team is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of innovative .NET applications. This role involves working on the development of .NET REST APIs and microservices, enhancing the current platform, and incorporating emerging API technologies.

Senior .NET Software Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Lead and participate in the design, development, and deployment of .NET REST APIs and microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure service designs follow approved architecture.
• Build event-driven services using Kafka.
• Use and enhance DevOps tools and processes for CI/CD, including Jenkins, Artifactory, BitBucket, and Ansible.
• Identify and resolve defects in services, debug, and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with both onshore and offshore teams for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation activities.
• Produce and maintain documentation and records in compliance with SDLC requirements.
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and interface design.
• Contribute to defining timelines and project plans; analyze and estimate feasibility, cost, time, and scope.
• Ensure information security standards and requirements are incorporated into all solutions.
• Contribute to the ongoing support, stability, and performance of application systems in production.

Senior .NET Software Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of development skills and progressive information technology experience with full application development life cycle.
• Strong working experience with .NET APIs, REST, SOAP, JSON, Open API, Swagger, MS SQL, web services, and web hosting technologies.
• Strong DevOps experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 1+ years’ experience working with Event Driven Architecture.
• Post-secondary Computer Science diploma or degree.

Senior .NET Software Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Kubernetes, Okta, Kafka, AWS, MongoDB.
• Experience with Group Benefits products and business domains.
• Exposure to Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integration architectures and technologies.

Senior .NET Software Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a 5-month contract

Senior .NET Software Engineer - Start Date:
ASAP.

Senior .NET Software Engineer - Assignment Location:
Flexible - Hybrid (1 day per month) or Remote (working in EST)
