Senior Network Discovery Consultant:
On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Senior Network Discovery Consultant for a 3-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s ECN, AB, Canada office.

Senior Network Discovery Consultant - Job Description:
Softchoice's client operates a large-scale Cisco network environment, including Cisco Meraki technologies, and has identified design and deployment challenges that require expert investigation. The consultant will conduct network discovery, produce design documentation, build a work breakdown structure (WBS), and deliver actionable recommendations.

Senior Network Discovery Consultant - Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive discovery of a large, enterprise-scale Cisco network environment, including Cisco Meraki deployments.
• Assess current-state network architecture, identifying design gaps, deployment issues, and operational risks.
• Produce detailed, actionable design documentation covering current-state and target-state architecture.
• Build a work breakdown structure (WBS) to guide remediation, redesign, and future implementation phases.
• Deliver forward-looking, specific recommendations the organization can act on directly.
• Partner with internal stakeholders onsite to validate findings and align on direction for future technical work.
• Present findings and documentation clearly, for both technical and leadership audiences.

Senior Network Discovery Consultant - Mandatory Skills:
• Extensive hands-on experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale Cisco networks (routing, switching, WAN, security).
• Direct hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting at scale.
• Demonstrated experience conducting formal network discovery and assessment engagements.
• Proven ability to produce professional-grade design documentation and WBS artifacts.
• Enterprise-scale experience across multi-site, high device count, complex network topologies.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable working onsite with cross-functional stakeholders.

Senior Network Discovery Consultant – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• CCNP or CCIE certification, or equivalent Cisco/Meraki credentials.
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience in a discovery-and-recommendation capacity.

Senior Network Discovery Consultant – Assignment Length:
This is a 3-month initial contract, with the possibility of extension based on findings and organizational needs.
