Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer:
On behalf of our manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer for a 7 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Cambridge, Ontario office.

Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer - Job Description:
The Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of enterprise network infrastructure supporting manufacturing, corporate, and data center operations. This role involves working on maintaining and enhancing the current network systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Design and implement enterprise network infrastructure
• Support and troubleshoot network issues
• Continuously improve network performance
• Administer Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco Wireless systems
• Monitor network operations and respond to incidents
• Conduct root cause analysis for network failures
• Maintain accurate network documentation and communicate technical information effectively

Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Layer 2/3 switching
• Proficiency in routing, STP, HSRP, VRRP, EtherChannel, and VLAN design
• Palo Alto Firewall administration skills
• Knowledge of Cisco ISE and Cisco Catalyst Center
• Familiarity with SolarWinds for network monitoring
• Expertise in DNS/DHCP and fiber infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving and technical communication abilities

Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with network security and segmentation
• Familiarity with change management processes
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong documentation skills
• Knowledge of accessible network design

Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a 7 month contract position.
