Senior Program Manager:
On behalf of our hospitality client, Procom is searching for a Senior Program Manager for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Senior Program Manager - Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the delivery of Project Alpha, a high-profile technology transformation initiative aimed at improving the guest/customer experience. This initiative involves coordinating multiple product and service delivery teams across the IT organization and managing complex stakeholder interactions.

Senior Program Manager - Responsibilities:
• Establish program governance for complex technology transformation programs requiring multiple technology and stakeholder teams to work together
• Build and manage delivery plans across competing priorities, balancing objectives across multiple product teams
• Lead key programs from inception to completion through management and orchestration of sub-projects spanning multiple teams within product development cycles
• Manage sequencing and dependencies of varying complexity at the program level, feeding into larger portfolio views
• Own all proactive and reactive communications for program sponsors and stakeholders
• Act as the initial escalation point for multifaceted program deliveries, proposing mitigation strategies and corrective action
• Manage program budgets effectively within enterprise-wide governance and control mechanisms
• Identify, propose, and deploy appropriate commercial frameworks and purchasing strategies in collaboration with internal commercial teams
• Liaise with Enterprise Architecture and Digital Steering teams to ensure initiatives remain aligned to technology strategy and enterprise priorities

Senior Program Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years of experience delivering large, complex technology initiatives across multiple technology domains (Applications, Software Development, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, Platforms, Cybersecurity, Digital Products, Technology Operations)
• Demonstrated experience leading business transformation initiatives enabled by technology, with measurable organizational, operational, or customer outcomes
• Experience delivering within one or more technology disciplines such as software engineering, data and analytics, technology operations, resilience, cybersecurity, risk management, enterprise architecture, or digital transformation
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders, sponsors, and senior leadership teams
• Experience working in large enterprise environments, collaborating across technology, security, data, product, communications, and business functions
• Knowledge of technology governance, risk, security, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, COBIT, SOC, or similar)
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities across diverse teams and priorities

Senior Program Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience within the airline, travel, tourism, hospitality, or tour operator industry
• Project/Program certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
• Agile or Product Management related certification
• Lifecycle exposure across product delivery, service management, and project execution operations

Senior Program Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with potential extension.
