Senior Program Manager:
On behalf of our Public Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Program Manager for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. 

Senior Program Manager - Job Description:
The Senior Program Manager will lead procurement and contract administration processes, focusing on technology-related products and services. The role involves preparing requirements for various procurement documents and ensuring adherence to procedures while mitigating risks. The candidate will also provide leadership and guidance on technology procurement life cycles across the city.

Senior Program Manager - Responsibilities:
• Prepare requirements for procurement documents such as RFPs, RFQs, and RFSQs for technology products and services.
• Lead and support the evaluation of responses and review final recommendations.
• Review proposals, communications, reports, and legal agreements to ensure clarity and adherence to procedures.
• Provide leadership on processes related to technology procurement life cycles.
• Negotiate with management, clients, and stakeholders to reach optimal agreements.

Senior Program Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum of 10+ years in procurement and contract administration in government or large private sector organizations.
• Over 5 years of IT procurement experience in similar environments.
• Extensive experience with agile, waterfall, and iterative project management methods.
• Strong IT knowledge with relevance to cyber threats and technologies.
• Strong process management and risk minimization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Maximo experience mandatory.

Senior Program Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in influencing and working effectively with key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to support teams during peak workloads.
• Experience in minimizing risk exposure.

Senior Program Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.

ASAP.

Senior Program Manager - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office.
