Senior Program Manager:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Senior Program Manager for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Senior Program Manager - Job Description:
The Senior Program Manager will lead enterprise technology transformation initiatives, focusing on mainframe modernization and application transformation. This role involves managing complex, multi-project programs with a focus on governance, delivery oversight, and vendor management to ensure successful outcomes.

Senior Program Manager - Responsibilities:
• Own the integrated program roadmap and delivery plan across projects and workstreams
• Establish and operate program governance, including decision forums and status reporting
• Proactively manage program-level risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
• Develop and maintain program financial plans and forecasts
• Coordinate multiple project managers and delivery leads
• Lead stakeholder alignment across various teams and vendors
• Prepare concise, decision-oriented updates for sponsors and executive leadership
• Manage vendor delivery and performance

Senior Program Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience leading large-scale technology programs, preferably mainframe modernization
• Strong governance, delivery oversight, and vendor management capabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and business stakeholders
• Experience coordinating multiple project teams and workstreams
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
• 10+ years of progressive program or project management experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is strongly preferred

Senior Program Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience working across Canadian and U.S. teams
• Experience in a regulated utility or complex enterprise environment
• Experience with large application modernization and cloud migration
• Experience with procurement and vendor lifecycle activities
• Experience supporting organizational change and business readiness

Senior Program Manager – Assignment Length:
12 months

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in the office.
