Senior Project Controller:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Project Controller for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Project Controller - Job Description:
The Senior Project Controller will support a portfolio of Agile and Waterfall initiatives within the Treasury & Payment Solutions line of business. The role involves ensuring effective portfolio governance, financial tracking, and delivery readiness. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive priorities and deliver key initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Senior Project Controller - Responsibilities:
• Coordinate portfolio leadership forums, governance reviews, and steering committees
• Capture and maintain meeting minutes, decisions, and action items
• Conduct spot-checks of project documentation for compliance
• Collect and validate project updates across delivery teams
• Prepare executive dashboards and status reports
• Support portfolio financial management activities
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new team members and projects
• Assist with monthly release readiness and post-release support

Senior Project Controller - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong knowledge of portfolio governance and PMO practices
• Experience managing financial reporting and budget tracking
• Proficiency in portfolio reporting tools like Jira and Power BI
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Senior Project Controller – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Atlassian Rovo and Microsoft Copilot
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification
• Experience in risk management and project controls
• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or Technology

Senior Project Controller – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension and potential conversion to a full-time employee.
