On behalf of our Public Utilities client, Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager - Aveva PI for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Project Manager - Aveva PI - Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to spearhead the implementation and expansion of AVEVA PI, aiming to enhance enterprise data visibility, reporting, and operational analytics. This role involves driving the execution of AVEVA PI capabilities across technical, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure successful deployment, integration, and adoption.

Senior Project Manager - Aveva PI - Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and delivery milestones
• Lead risk, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) management
• Drive technical workshops and stakeholder sessions to define data integration, reporting, and analytics requirements
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, data engineers, system integrators, and business stakeholders
• Oversee implementation of AVEVA PI components, including data ingestion, interfaces, asset frameworks, and reporting tools
• Ensure system integrations with enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, maintenance systems, analytics platforms)
• Track and drive delivery progress, ensuring milestones are achieved
• Prepare and present materials for Steering Committees and executive updates
• Support data governance, reporting adoption, and change management activities

Senior Project Manager - Aveva PI - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager leading enterprise technology implementations
• Direct experience implementing AVEVA PI (OSIsoft PI) or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of data integration, system interfaces, and enterprise reporting solutions
• Strong technical understanding of different components of Aveva PI such as Asset framework, templates, elements, attributes in context of raw time-series data
• Previous hands-on technical background such as data mapping, data migration
• Proven ability to drive delivery outcomes
• Experience leading large, complex, cross-functional technical teams

Senior Project Manager - Aveva PI – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong facilitation and technical workshop leadership abilities
• Advanced PowerPoint and executive presentation skills
• Expertise in project planning, scheduling, and dependency management
• Confident, proactive leader who can push delivery forward

This is a 12 month contract position.
