Senior Project Manager:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager for a contract role. This position is a remote position with a preference for Alberta-based candidates, but open to anywhere in Canada.

Senior Project Manager - Job Description:
The project involves technology enablement with a focus on Salesforce and software development. The role includes managing IT projects, emphasizing business process and organizational change, and ensuring alignment with broader portfolio goals.

Senior Project Manager - Responsibilities:
• Partner with Technology Enablement, Business, and third-party stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager to set program standards and ensure alignment with portfolio goals.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget oversight.
• Proactively identify and address risks/issues, delivering data-driven reports.
• Lead cross-functional teams and external vendors, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
• Produce and maintain project artifacts to the highest standards.

Senior Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent professional certifications.
• 6+ years of experience leading IT projects with a focus on business process and organizational change.
• 3+ years managing cross-functional teams for large-scale initiatives.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform rapid discovery and provide unbiased feedback.

Senior Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Salesforce projects.
• High emotional intelligence (EQ) for managing diverse personalities.
• Tool agnostic with proficiency across multiple platforms.
• Experience in managing scope creep.
• Ability to swiftly build trust with executive sponsors and vendors.

Senior Project Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position ending on 3/31/2027, with the possibility of extension.
