Senior Project Manager – ETRM Implementation:
Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager – ETRM Implementation for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office.

Senior Project Manager – ETRM Implementation - Job Description:
The Senior Project Manager will lead the deployment of an Energy Tracking and Risk Management (ETRM) system across the organization. This project involves implementing a new platform to enhance energy tracking and risk management capabilities. The role requires overseeing the project to ensure it is completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Senior Project Manager – ETRM Implementation - Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of an ETRM application implementation project for multiple work streams.
• Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, vendors, and business stakeholders for multiple work streams.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with organizational project delivery standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing vendor management for selected vendors.
• Drive user acceptance testing, training, and successful transition to the new ETRM system.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure continuous improvement.
• Meet Project Accounting monthly reporting requirements for budget forecasts, accruals, and variance reporting.
• Ensure timely reporting and escalation to the Delivery Assurance team as needed.
• Follow established processes to engage in the services of  Managed Service Provider.

Senior Project Manager – ETRM Implementation - Mandatory Skills:
• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of IT project management experience.
• Experience managing projects using Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
• Proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).

Senior Project Manager – ETRM Implementation – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related discipline.
• Experience with formal project governance models including project gating.
• Experience with executive-level stakeholder management and presentation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based Hitachi Energy ETRM or other energy tracking and risk management software platforms.
• Experience working in the regulated Utilities industry.

Senior Project Manager – ETRM Implementation – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
