Senior Project Manager:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager for a 5 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Project Manager - Job Description:
The Senior Project Manager will lead large-scale, complex projects within the T & O line of business. This role involves orchestrating strategic projects, ensuring business, operational, and IT deliverables are met. The project manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

Senior Project Manager - Responsibilities:
• Direct large-scale, complex projects with multiple constituents and matrix partners
• Define, plan, orchestrate, and deliver strategic projects
• Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including change management and quality management
• Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders at various organizational levels
• Chair governance forums to review project progress
• Manage project scope to meet time, cost, and quality parameters
• Develop and maintain project artifacts, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards
• Monitor and control the project, proposing recommendations as needed
• Lead requirements design, programming, and testing
• Contribute to improving project management best practices

Senior Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• 8 years of experience in a similar role within major financial institutions
• Strong understanding of waterfall lifecycle phases and categories
• Project financial control and high-level forecast accuracy
• Experience with MS Projects
• Ability to work independently and determine when escalations are appropriate
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders

Senior Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• AML experience

Senior Project Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position with an end date of 10/31/2026, with the possibility of extension.

ASAP

Senior Project Manager - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days in the office per week.
