Senior Python Engineer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Python Engineer for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Python Engineer - Job Description:
The Senior Python Engineer will be involved in the development of new software solutions and enhancements to existing platforms. The role focuses on designing scalable and efficient code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Senior Python Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-quality Python code for various applications
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and bugs
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes

Senior Python Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Agile development methodologies

Senior Python Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker
• Understanding of database technologies like SQL or NoSQL
• Experience with automated testing frameworks

This is a 12 month contract position.
