Senior QA - Manual:
On behalf of our Energy and Gas client, Procom is searching for a Senior QA - Manual for a 9-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Senior QA - Manual - Job Description:
The project involves working with project teams to understand impact assessments, identify various types of testing needed, and prepare test plans. The Senior QA will follow client's test methodology to deliver the project successfully.

Senior QA - Manual - Responsibilities:
• Understand the existing solution and integration design, existing business processes
• Prepare a test plan for the project
• Work with the business analyst and architecture team to identify impacted scenarios and collaborate with the project team for test planning and execution
• Write detailed test cases and execute them in X-Ray
• Drive troubleshooting calls with the project and development partner, ensuring updates in Jira
• Ensure that quality gate checks are signed off
• Provide a daily status report on defects and execution, escalating issues to the project for faster resolution

Senior QA - Manual - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum experience of 7-8 years in testing
• Ability to work as an individual contributor from planning until execution and closure
• Capability to understand the technical and functional impact
• Good understanding of the role of environment & integrations while testing project requirements
• Experience in performing SIT and End to End testing in a multi-vendor environment
• Proficiency with Jira and X-ray

Senior QA - Manual – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Exposure/experience in the Energy and Gas domain
• Hands-on experience in Maximo or Salesforce

Senior QA - Manual – Assignment Length:
This is a 9-month contract position.
