Senior Salesforce QA Analyst — Automation & AI Testing

Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to develop, own and execute testing strategies and methodologies to ensure quality software releases.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be experienced in modern test methodologies and processes executed throughout the software development life cycle and have experience with Cloud solutions. Flextrack builds our applications on the Salesforce Cloud Platform, and this role will be fully accountable for developing and executing testing methodologies and test scripts – familiarity with the Salesforce platform and Jira / Atlassian are essential.

The Senior Salesforce QA Analyst will be working closely with our development teams to ensure the successful completion of our technical cloud business solutions. Our ideal candidate has strong technical skills, the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Working in an Agile framework, the candidate will be responsible for validating the quality of the sprints and managing releases to customers.

Day to day you will:

• Fully own the testing and quality assurance of our web-based applications built on the Salesforce platform. 

• Create systems, processes and procedures based on industry-best practices to support our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Be accountable for end-to-end software quality assurance on highly complex and/or multiple projects including: creating use cases, developing & maintaining test specifications, test cases, test scripts, test data, troubleshoot test issues, record test results, track and prioritize defects, and participate in product readiness & release decisions.
• Establish fact-based measures of test efficiency, effectiveness, and product readiness.
• Drive a continuous improvement mentality to deliver robust performance testing strategies and methods
• Promote excellent development practices for coded test frameworks, to include participating in code reviews and source control management

• Design test automation for Salesforce UI, web services, APIs
• Build and maintain AI-assisted test automation — leverage AI tooling (e.g. Copilot, LLM-based test generation, AI-augmented test maintenance) to accelerate test coverage, reduce manual test authoring overhead, and keep automation suites current with rapid release cycles.
• Maintain tools used in test development including source control, test management and release systems

It would be amazing if you have:

• 5+ years of QA Experience
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing
• Familiar with bug management and test management tools likes test rails, JIRA
• Knowledge and keen eye for the design and development of web-based SaaS applications
• Experience with Salesforce-compatible test automation tools — Provar strongly preferred; familiarity with Selenium, Cucumber, or Functionize also valued. Comfort evaluating and adopting emerging AI-assisted testing tools (e.g. Mabl, Testim, or LLM-based test generation).
• Experience integrating automated test execution into Salesforce CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset, or equivalent); understanding of how QA gates fit into a release management workflow across sandbox and production org environments.
• ISTQB Foundation certification (CTFL) or equivalent; ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer a strong asset.
• Salesforce platform fluency required — hands-on experience testing Salesforce-native applications including: metadata-driven configurations, Flow and Apex testing patterns, multi-org deployment validation, and governor limit awareness as a test design constraint. Familiarity with Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, and org comparison tooling (e.g. Gearset, Copado) strongly preferred.

• Able to work independently and in a collaborative environment with other team members;
• Collaborate with QA, Dev and Business team to identify test areas for automation and design solutions
• Experience in customer facing skills to be able to deliver demos and technical discussions with client
• Flexibility to manage working in a fast-paced environment being able to meet deadlines balancing priorities, assure quality of work while catering to changing business requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address missing areas of gaps in specs to catch bugs early on
