On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant — S/4HANA Implementation.

Our client is undertaking a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation and is seeking a Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant to lead the design and configuration of Extended Warehouse Management supporting their physical warehousing operations — including picking, packing, and putaway. The client is also implementing Coupa as their cloud procurement platform (purchase orders, supplier data, and invoice processing), which will be integrated with S/4HANA. You will play a hands-on role across the full implementation lifecycle, from requirements workshops through go-live and post-go-live support.

Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant — S/4HANA Implementation- Job Description:

• Lead requirements-gathering and design workshops with warehouse operations and supply chain stakeholders in Calgary and at the Fernie/Sparwood mine site
• Design and configure SAP EWM within the S/4HANA landscape to support core warehouse processes: inbound receiving and putaway, picking, packing, staging, and outbound shipping
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process designs, and configuration documentation
• Define warehouse structure elements (storage types, bins, activity areas, work centers) and warehouse process types aligned to site operations
• Ensure seamless integration between EWM and core S/4HANA modules (MM, IM, SD) and support integration touchpoints with Coupa-managed procurement flows (POs, supplier data, invoices) synchronizing with S/4HANA
• Plan and execute testing cycles, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT); prepare test scripts and support defect resolution
• Support data migration activities for warehouse-relevant master data and inventory
• Deliver end-user training and prepare training/support documentation for warehouse personnel
• Provide on-site support at the mine for workshops, testing sessions, cutover, go-live, and hypercare
• Collaborate with the broader implementation team (SCM, procurement, technical/integration resources) to resolve cross-functional design issues

Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant — S/4HANA Implementation Mandatory Skills:

• 8+ years of SAP supply chain experience, with deep hands-on SAP EWM functional configuration expertise
• Experience with EWM in an S/4HANA environment (embedded or decentralized), ideally on at least one full-lifecycle greenfield implementation
• Strong knowledge of core warehouse processes — picking, packing, putaway, inbound/outbound logistics — and how they map to EWM design
• Solid understanding of broader SAP SCM processes and integration with MM, IM, and SD
• Proven full-lifecycle implementation experience: workshops, blueprinting/design, configuration, testing, training, cutover, and go-live/hypercare support
• Strong stakeholder-facing skills — comfortable running workshops and working directly with warehouse and operations personnel
• Based in Calgary (preferred), Edmonton, or Vancouver, with the ability to work on-site in Calgary and travel occasionally to Fernie/Sparwood, BC
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with Coupa (or a comparable cloud procurement platform such as SAP Ariba) and its integration with S/4HANA — not mandatory; candidates without Coupa experience will absolutely be considered
• Experience in mining, natural resources, or other asset-intensive industries
• Familiarity with RF/mobile scanning solutions and warehouse automation within EWM
• SAP EWM or S/4HANA certification

Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Hybrid position with 3 days onsite in the Calgary office, travel to Elk Valley potentially one week per month.
