Senior Security Developer:
On behalf of our services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Security Developer for a short-term role. This position is a hybrid position with occasional onsite meetings at our client’s Calgary office.

Senior Security Developer - Job Description:
The project involves supporting all credential management and authentication-related activities for the CIAM Digital Program. The Senior Security Developer will provide technical expertise and implementation guidance on high-roadmap items, including Passkey implementations for Wealth management, Dynamic Step-Up authentication, and Native Biometric SSO.

Senior Security Developer - Responsibilities:
• Manage and configure client login processes in Identity Providers, including SSO and MFA
• Design, develop, test, and integrate code into identity systems
• Perform authentication policy and code reviews for team members
• Provide recommendations for improving product security and solve integration issues
• Share technical requirements for secure integration and guide other teams
• Identify potential design and implementation vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with team members on project delivery and conduct troubleshooting sessions

Senior Security Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience within an IT Enterprise field
• Strong understanding of SSO Standards and authentication flows (SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0)
• Experience with API integration, authentication, and security standards
• Working knowledge of common software version control systems like Git
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field

Senior Security Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages
• Experience with FIDO2
• Experience writing code for authentication
• Previous experience with development in the agile framework

Senior Security Developer – Assignment Length:
3 months
