Senior Security Specialist:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Security Specialist for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Security Specialist - Job Description:
The project involves governance, monitoring, and tracking of regulatory exam findings and oversight of technology issues management programs. The role is critical to supporting the project needs with the necessary skill set.

Senior Security Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Governance, monitoring, and tracking of regulatory exam findings
• Oversight of technology issues management program
• Collaborate with a team of 9 people and various senior executives
• Ensure timelines are met and work quality is maintained
• Participate in 3+ hours of meetings per day

Senior Security Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in regulatory exams, internal audits, or tech GRC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio
• Previous control testing and audit experience
• Ability to write reports for executive level
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently

Senior Security Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Governance, Risk and Controls experience
• Experience with big 4 consulting firms
• Familiarity with Alteryx, Power Bi, or Tableau
• CISA and CRISC certifications or equivalent

Senior Security Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs and performance.

Senior Security Specialist - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada with a hybrid work arrangement of 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.
