Senior Software Developer - Cloud, API, Angular x3:
On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a Senior Software Developer - Cloud, API, Angular x3 for a 6-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Software Developer - Cloud, API, Angular x3 - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical project for Justice Technology Services, focusing on high-security digital product development. The project is part of the Criminal Justice Digital Design modernization program, requiring new development using cutting-edge technologies and frameworks.

Senior Software Developer - Cloud, API, Angular x3 - Responsibilities:
• Analyze, design, code, and unit test applications and APIs using Restful API, Spring Boot, and Angular technologies
• Translate functional specifications into working, tested applications (Front-end User-Interface, Backend logic, and integration tier)
• Develop detailed programming specifications, user interface designs, and prototypes
• Ensure compliance with security and accessibility standards
• Conduct unit tests and debug code
• Participate in the creation of high-quality software design and documentation of SDLC phases
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues, analyze logs, and provide on-call support

Senior Software Developer - Cloud, API, Angular x3 - Mandatory Skills:
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience with software development for highly sensitive, secure, high-performance, high-availability Cloud solutions
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in developing enterprise-grade applications using Restful API and Angular frameworks
• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in Front-end/User Interface development, including proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with enterprise integration technologies, such as JMS, AMQP, REST, or IBM Mainframe interfaces
• Strong skills in SQL and experience working with relational databases
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Senior Software Developer - Cloud, API, Angular x3 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development) and Micro Service model
• Familiarity with UI/UX and accessibility standards
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation processes/tooling
• Knowledge of Angular Framework best practices and latest features
• Problem-solving and teamwork skills

This is a 6-month contract position.
