Job Description
Senior Software Developer - Generative AIOur client is seeking a a Software Developer with a strong interest and experience in integrating large language models (LLMs) into products, and a passion for building intelligent, agentic systems. As part of the Innovation Team, you will primarily support the growth and implementation of AI-powered tools that help efficiently review, analyze, and make decisions. This role focuses on extending and operationalizing AI application capabilities, establishing reusable patterns, and supporting production-ready solutions that can be applied across multiple business areas.
While the growth and operationalization of AI-powered tools will be your primary area of focus, the role will evolve to support the development, scaling, and operationalization of reusable AI patterns across the organization as well as potential opportunities to contribute to other Innovation initiatives.
We recognize that agentic AI is an emerging domain. If direct project experience is not available, we encourage applications from candidates with the most applicable mix of skills, education, curiosity, and experience in LLMs, AI architecture, and software development.
Specific Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Act as the technical lead and primary developer for establishing a reusable AI platform.
- Build, maintain, and evolve applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and open-source LLMs.
- Integrate LLMs into enterprise workflows and digital products.
- Design and implement reusable AI and agentic solution patterns, frameworks, and components that can be leveraged across multiple business domains.
- Lead the exploration and implementation of advanced AI architectures, including multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks.
- Collaborate with business, product, and data teams to prototype, deliver, and operationalize AI-powered solutions.
- Develop evaluation, monitoring, and governance capabilities that support the reliable operationalization, continuous improvement, and responsible use of AI solutions.
- Identify opportunities to apply proven AI capabilities to additional business processes and portfolios.
- Contribute to architecture standards, technical direction, and AI best practices while sharing knowledge across the development community.
- Develop evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness, reliability, and business value of AI applications.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for models, architectures, solution patterns, and key design decisions while contributing to system architecture planning and governance.
- Stay current with research and best practices in generative and agentic AI.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and DevOps practices.
- Support knowledge sharing within the development team.
- Create reusable AI frameworks, templates, and reference architectures that accelerate future solution delivery.

- Integration of LLM-based solutions and reusable patterns into existing enterprise environments
- Documentation of models, prompts, workflows, and architectures
- Participate in regular stakeholder updates and demo presentations
- Contribute to reusable components and AI development patterns
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a software developer, including recent work with LLMs or AI integration
- Familiarity with Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., OpenAI SDKs, LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Experience with C#, .NET Core, and object-oriented design is a must
- Understanding of agent-based design concepts and tools (AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, etc.)
- Familiarity with RAG, GraphRAG, embeddings, and vector databases such as Cosmos DB, pgvector, or Qdrant.
- Experience deploying solutions to Azure Cloud.
- Experience building APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and Agile software development practices
- Ability to synthesize complexity and communicate AI capabilities clearly to diverse audience
- Knowledge of Azure AI services
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
