Senior Solutions Designer:
On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a Senior Solutions Designer for a 6-month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Senior Solutions Designer - Job Description:
This role involves designing hosting technology solutions for critical projects within the Ontario Public Service (OPS). The focus is on developing new solutions and enhancing existing platforms to align with client specifications and industry best practices.

Senior Solutions Designer - Responsibilities:
• Design hosting technology solutions based on client specifications, standards, and cost models.
• Utilize knowledge of integrated networking technologies, mainframe, midrange server, and enterprise storage.
• Gather and analyze client business requirements to align with strategic plans.
• Participate in the development of solutions and provide advice on service development activities.
• Ensure solutions meet project deliverables and business requirements.

Senior Solutions Designer - Mandatory Skills:
• Over 10 years of experience in backend design and development using REST Web Services, JPA, Hibernate, and SQL/PL-SQL.
• Expertise in enterprise integration design, including integration patterns and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of the Spring Framework, particularly Spring Integration.
• Strong understanding of message-oriented middleware and enterprise service buses like IBM ACE or MuleSoft.
• Experience with integration technologies such as JMS, AMQP, or REST, especially within Azure contexts.

Senior Solutions Designer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of OPS directory/messaging standards and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with corporate I&IT information mandates and technology strategic plans.
• Experience in facility service delivery processes and procurement processes.
• Ability to provide strategic advice on short/long-term solution development.
• Understanding of cost models and procurement processes.

Senior Solutions Designer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

Senior Solutions Designer - Start Date:
ASAP.

Senior Solutions Designer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
