Senior Specialized IT Consultant- Healthcare, HL7, FHIR:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Senior Specialized IT Consultant- Healthcare, HL7, FHIR for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with up to 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. 

Senior Specialized IT Consultant- Healthcare, HL7, FHIR - Job Description:
This role involves working on critical health data integration projects, focusing on EHR contribution and integration. The project includes the review and readiness of data for repositories such as the Ontario Lab Information System (OLIS) and the Digital Health Drug Repository (DHDR).

Senior Specialized IT Consultant- Healthcare, HL7, FHIR - Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and ensure the readiness of data for client's repositories
• Support EHR contributions and integrations
• Assist in HIS upgrades and privacy operations support
• Consult for Clinical Viewer and Clinical Data Foundation (CDF)
• Work on projects related to OLIS, DHDR, CMRO, MI, and PCIE

Senior Specialized IT Consultant- Healthcare, HL7, FHIR - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare sector workflows and source system technologies
• 7+ years in electronic health data integration projects, expertise in HL7 V2.x and V3
• 5+ years with HL7 Health Standard message conformance tooling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills

Senior Specialized IT Consultant- Healthcare, HL7, FHIR – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Public sector experience
• Experience with Ontario Health systems
• Familiarity with medical imaging and primary care information systems

Senior Specialized IT Consultant- Healthcare, HL7, FHIR – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
