Senior System Testing/QA Specialist:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Senior System Testing/QA Specialist for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 to 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior System Testing/QA Specialist - Job Description:
The Senior System Testing/QA Specialist will be involved in supporting the Clinical Data Foundation (CDF) Program and other integrated healthcare systems. Responsibilities include developing and executing test strategies, plans, and scripts for large-scale backend applications and ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Senior System Testing/QA Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Analyze and understand business and technical requirements to develop test strategies and automated test scripts
• Perform testing and validation of HL7 FHIR R4 resources and other healthcare data structures
• Validate FHIR Implementation Guide profiles and data quality requirements
• Develop and maintain automation testing frameworks for UI and API validation
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote automation best practices
• Support business acceptance and release readiness activities

Senior System Testing/QA Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 7 years of experience with enterprise QA/testing of large-scale backend applications
• Advanced UI automation experience with Selenium or Playwright using Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Strong API and web service testing experience with REST/SOAP, Postman, REST Assured
• Strong database validation experience using SQL, Oracle, MySQL
• Excellent functional testing skills, including defect management in JIRA
• Experience with testing system accesses based on authentication/authorization
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Senior System Testing/QA Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Healthcare interoperability experience with HL7 FHIR resources and/or HL7 v2/v3
• Knowledge of Microsoft ecosystems like Power BI, Dynamics 365, SharePoint

Senior System Testing/QA Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.
