Senior System Testing / QA Specialist-UI Automation, API/Web services:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Senior System Testing / QA Specialist-UI Automation, API/Web services for an 11 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with up to 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Senior System Testing / QA Specialist-UI Automation, API/Web services - Job Description:
The Provincial Clinical Viewer Project aims to consolidate multiple clinical viewers into a single, efficient provincial clinical viewer. The Senior System Testing / QA Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality of this product by performing Quality Assurance Testing Activities, including creating and executing automated test suites for UI, API, and web services.

Senior System Testing / QA Specialist-UI Automation, API/Web services - Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute testing efforts in UI and API testing
• Develop and maintain automation testing frameworks and scripts
• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop test plans and execute tests
• Log, track, and manage defects in JIRA
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to support system implementation and ongoing testing
• Run smoke/sanity tests to validate deployments and environment stability
• Support user acceptance testing and participate in UAT activities

Senior System Testing / QA Specialist-UI Automation, API/Web services - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in automation testing
• Advanced experience with UI automation using JAVA and Selenium
• Advanced API automation testing using tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or ReadyAPI
• Experience with ETL, SQL, and cross-browser testing
• Experience with authentication/authorization testing
• Experience in Agile-Scrum environments
• Experience with JIRA for defect management

Senior System Testing / QA Specialist-UI Automation, API/Web services – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with GitHub
• Experience in healthcare systems and HL7 FHIR testing
• Experience planning testing efforts for large and small systems
• Experience supporting UAT activities
• Hands-on experience with BrowserStack

Senior System Testing / QA Specialist-UI Automation, API/Web services – Assignment Length:
The term of this contract is 11 months.
