On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure) for a contract-to-hire role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure) - Job Description:
MCAP is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support strategic infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation initiatives, and operational excellence. The role involves leading the administration, optimization, and modernization of the enterprise infrastructure ecosystem within a highly regulated financial services environment.

Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure) - Responsibilities:
• Lead complex infrastructure troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Manage hybrid Azure and on-premises environments
• Design and implement automation using PowerShell and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID
• Drive vulnerability remediation and security hardening initiatives
• Collaborate with network, security, application, and service desk teams
• Mentor junior administrators and act as an escalation resource

Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure) - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or systems engineering
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
• Advanced Microsoft 365 administration skills
• Strong Windows Server administration experience
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation expertise
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Experience with Intune and Modern Device Management
• Cybersecurity and compliance experience within regulated industries
• Financial services industry experience

Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure) – Assignment Length:
Initial 3-month engagement with potential conversion to full-time.

Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure) - Start Date:
ASAP.

Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure) - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid work model with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.
