Senior Tanium Subject Matter Expert:
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Tanium Subject Matter Expert for a 12 month contract role. This position is a remote position with occasional onsite time at our client’s offices in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Senior Tanium Subject Matter Expert - Job Description:
Seeking a senior Tanium subject matter expert to guide the design, deployment, and adoption of the Tanium platform as part of a large endpoint management and security rollout at the client. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who has taken Tanium from pilot to production in a large, distributed, and regulated enterprise.

Senior Tanium Subject Matter Expert - Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end deployment of the Tanium platform across the client's global endpoint estate.
• Design Tanium architecture for a large, distributed environment.
• Configure and tune core Tanium modules aligned to the client's security and compliance needs.
• Partner with the client's security, risk, and compliance teams to map Tanium capabilities to requirements.
• Develop and validate sensors, packages, and custom content for client-specific needs.
• Establish and document standard operating procedures for ongoing Tanium administration.
• Troubleshoot platform performance and connectivity issues across a large network.
• Support integration of Tanium with adjacent tools in the client's environment.
• Lead workshops and training sessions for the client's internal IT and security teams.
• Track project milestones and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Senior Tanium Subject Matter Expert - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, endpoint management, or security operations.
• 3+ years of hands-on Tanium experience.
• Proven track record deploying Tanium in a large enterprise (10,000+ endpoints).
• Deep working knowledge of core Tanium modules.
• Strong understanding of Tanium architecture.
• Solid scripting ability in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Senior Tanium Subject Matter Expert – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Prior experience deploying Tanium within a large financial institution.
• Experience integrating Tanium with ServiceNow, Splunk, or other SIEM/ITSM platforms.
• Familiarity with change management processes in large enterprises.
• Experience with cloud-managed endpoints on Azure or AWS.

This is a 12 month contract position.
