Senior Technical Writer:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Senior Technical Writer for a 12-month role. This position is onsite with up to 5 days at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Senior Technical Writer - Job Description:
The Senior Technical Writer will focus on creating professional technical project documentation, contributing to advancing organizational digital transformation objectives. This role involves developing comprehensive project documents by synthesizing complex technical input from architects and developers.

Senior Technical Writer - Responsibilities:
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear, structured, and professionally written project documents
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather domain knowledge and technical content
• Synthesize SME input into comprehensive project documentation
• Ensure documentation accurately reflects business needs and evaluation criteria
• Drive accuracy, completeness, and quality of project documents
• Ensure timely and efficient completion of project documentation

Senior Technical Writer - Mandatory Skills:
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in developing high-quality technical project documents
• Demonstrated ability to capture complex technical input and translate it into user-friendly documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Public sector experience
• Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., MS Word, SharePoint)

Senior Technical Writer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices relevant to technology and procurement
• Experience with a wide range of technical writing methods, tools, and techniques
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to align documentation with business requirements and evaluation criteria
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations

Senior Technical Writer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

Senior Technical Writer - Start Date:
ASAP.

Senior Technical Writer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite with up to 5 days in the office.
