Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Technology Architect to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing business services, data management, and enterprise platforms.

The successful candidate will provide architecture leadership across cloud, Microsoft technologies, microservices, and enterprise application initiatives. This role requires expertise in solution architecture, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and modern application design principles including event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, and microservices.

The architect will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and technical leadership to define architecture strategies, guide solution delivery, and support the evolution of enterprise digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise and solution architecture strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps
• Define application reference architectures and technical specifications for Microsoft and cloud-based solutions
• Architect and design solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Dataverse
• Design and document event-driven and microservices-based architectures
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise standards
• Develop architecture artifacts, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps
• Define and support DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and release management practices
• Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Support backlog refinement, technical planning, estimation, and roadmap development
• Assess impacts of proposed technology changes and modernization initiatives
• Develop migration strategies for legacy applications and cloud transformation programs
• Deliver technical knowledge transfer, mentoring, and workshops to project teams and stakeholders
• Provide ongoing status reporting, architectural guidance, and technical leadership throughout project delivery

Must-Have Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working as a Technology Architect or Solution Architect
• Extensive experience developing technical architectures, frameworks, strategies, and enterprise technology solutions
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Dataverse
• Experience designing and documenting event-driven architectures and API-based solutions
• Experience producing technical specifications for enterprise application development initiatives
• Hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies
• Experience designing and developing microservices and API orchestration services
• Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns, integration methodologies, and cloud-native design principles
• Experience supporting development teams through solution design, implementation, and deployment
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications / Assets

• Experience architecting cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Cosmos DB, and container technologies
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse integrations and Power Platform solutions
• Experience configuring and integrating SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions
• Experience integrating Microsoft Graph API
• Experience designing and implementing Dynamics CRM xRM solutions
• Experience developing product roadmaps, backlogs, and user stories within Agile environments
• Experience working within Government of Canada environments
• Strong understanding of:
