Senior Thermal Mechanical Engineer:
On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Senior Thermal Mechanical Engineer for a permanent role. This position at our client’s Calgary office. 

Senior Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Job Description:
As a Senior Thermal Mechanical Engineer you will lead the design, development, and validation of innovative liquid cooling solutions for high-performance electronics. You will work within the IT Cooling Design Engineering team to deliver products that meet performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability objectives.

Senior Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Design and develop thermal-mechanical products and components, focusing on performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Lead complex product development activities from concept through production.
• Create and maintain detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and related documentation.
• Perform and lead thermal, fluid flow, structural analyses, and drive laboratory testing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with testing, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer-facing teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in mechanical design, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, or system architecture.
• Mentor and support the development of junior engineers.

Senior Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience designing mechanical components and assemblies for mass production.
• Strong understanding of core mechanical engineering principles.
• Proficient in CAD and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks).
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and cooling system design.
• Experience designing products for high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or equivalent professional accreditation.

Senior Thermal Mechanical Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Minimum 6 years of experience in thermal-mechanical product development.
• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in Fluid Dynamics.
• Experience with CFD/FEA simulation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
