Senior UX Designer:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior UX Designer for an 18-month contract. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Austin, Texas office.

Senior UX Designer - Job Description:
The Senior UX Designer will work on enhancing the user experience across advisor services platforms, primarily focusing on desktop and responsive mobile applications. The role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to design tools and experiences that help users achieve their financial goals.

Senior UX Designer - Responsibilities:
• Facilitate collaborative design sessions, including sketching and ideation.
• Lead design reviews and drive design decisions.
• Create design solutions considering all aspects of the advisor experience.
• Translate established patterns and design systems to meet company goals.
• Visualize ideas in various forms such as sketches, diagrams, wireframes, or prototypes.
• Set expectations and prioritize activities with the project team.
• Maintain design schedules and communicate status with the project team.
• Conduct primary design activities and create deliverables at an expert level.
• Support research efforts and improve processes and methods.
• Collaborate effectively with all partners to deliver work.
• Support and guide UX team members with feedback and strategic input.

Senior UX Designer - Mandatory Skills:
• Expertise with foundational UX principles
• Experience executing high-fidelity design
• Documentation/Project Tracking experience (Confluence, Jira)
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills
• Empathy and curiosity towards user needs

Senior UX Designer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with accessible design principles
• Experience in financial services or a related industry
• Knowledge of design theory and tools
• Ability to balance functionality against complexity
• Passion for innovation and improvement

Senior UX Designer – Assignment Length:
This is an 18-month contract.
