Senior UX Designer:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Senior UX Designer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with up to 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior UX Designer - Job Description:
The Patients Before Paperwork (Pb4P) initiative is a critical project aimed at reducing the administrative burden on Primary Care Providers in Ontario through digital transformation. The Senior UX Designer will support and deliver UX/CX activities across multiple workstreams, collaborating with various stakeholders to create user-centered design solutions.

Senior UX Designer - Responsibilities:
• Work under the direction of UX/CX Senior Managers to support design priorities and research activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and technical constraints.
• Plan and coordinate UX research activities, including usability testing and interviews.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Translate insights into design outputs like wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
• Conduct usability testing and ensure designs meet accessibility standards.
• Document design rationale and decisions for product teams and stakeholders.

Senior UX Designer - Mandatory Skills:
• End-to-end UX/CX research experience — 7+ years
• Inclusive UX/UI and Service Design for complex digital products — 7+ years
• Cross-functional delivery in complex regulated environments — 5+ years
• Experience with AODA and WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance
• Strong written, verbal, and facilitation skills
• Ability to synthesize research into actionable insights
• Experience with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD

Senior UX Designer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in the public sector
• Knowledge of digital health initiatives
• Experience with service blueprints and ecosystem maps
• Familiarity with pattern libraries and reusable components
• Experience in managing translation coordination for UI copy

Senior UX Designer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
