On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Service Dispatcher for a 4 month temporary role. This position is onsite at our client’s Homer, New York office. 

Service Dispatcher - Job Description:
Join our world-class team of problem solvers, innovators, and communicators who inspire others. The Service Dispatcher is essential to our business, responsible for dispatching service calls and supporting the field team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting service agreements.

Service Dispatcher - Responsibilities:
• Receive incoming telephone calls and dispatch service calls
• Provide feedback to the call center for improvements and address customer concerns
• Support field team with parts to minimize return trips
• Assist field team with call overloads and provide direction
• Prioritize and determine the best available technician for jobs
• Maintain quality and timeliness of dispatch to meet customer needs
• Ensure proper communication with customers to gather all pertinent information
• Consistently follow-up with customers for completion and satisfaction
• Track all service calls and provide reporting and metrics to management
• Maintain service call logs and service manuals
• Perform monthly technician rides to understand team support requirements
• Promote the sale and implementation of service agreements to customers
• Coordinate with National Accounts service dispatch
• Provide administrative/back-up assistance to Service Supervisor
• Perform duties as described in the quality system and Field Operations Manual
• Work with Installation coordinator on manpower sharing opportunities

Service Dispatcher - Mandatory Skills:
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions
• 1+ year of customer service or dispatching experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities

Service Dispatcher – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Associate degree
• 2+ years of service management/call center/field service experience
• Skills with personal computers, including MS Office
• Knowledge of security hardware industry
• Proven knowledge of team development

Service Dispatcher – Assignment Length:
This is a 4 month temporary position.
