On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Site Reliability Engineer - Azure, ASP, Databricks for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Site Reliability Engineer - Azure, ASP, Databricks - Job Description:
The project involves supporting the processing of CMM as part of a new TCMM initiative. The Site Reliability Engineer will be the first member of the team, contributing to the development and deployment of complex applications in a cloud environment.

Site Reliability Engineer - Azure, ASP, Databricks - Responsibilities:
• Deploy, manage, and operate complex applications in Azure
• Code for automation using shell script, PowerShell, and Python
• Address and resolve complex development-related issues independently
• Monitor and log infrastructure, services, and applications
• Configure and manage big data technologies and databases

Site Reliability Engineer - Azure, ASP, Databricks - Mandatory Skills:
• Cloud experience with Azure Services including IaaS, IaC, ASP
• Experience with Databricks
• Proficiency with configuration management tools like SALT, Terraform, Ansible, or CHEF
• Development/Engineering experience with PowerShell, Bash, Shell, Python
• Experience with CI/CD toolsets such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus

Site Reliability Engineer - Azure, ASP, Databricks – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Relevant Azure certifications
• Experience in Agile environments
• Understanding of data storage and indexing approaches
• Strong organizational and priority-setting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Site Reliability Engineer - Azure, ASP, Databricks – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position.
