Site Reliability Engineer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Site Reliability Engineer for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Site Reliability Engineer - Job Description:
The project involves supporting and enhancing the Quality Risk Management (QRM) platform. The role focuses on designing, automating, and maintaining enterprise database platforms across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Site Reliability Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and support database platforms throughout their lifecycle
• Automate installation and configuration scripts for SQL Server environments
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to deploy and manage infrastructure
• Create CI/CD deployment pipelines for database releases and platform changes
• Partner with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to deliver automated platform solutions

Site Reliability Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Microsoft SQL Server installation, configuration, administration, and performance tuning
• Microsoft Azure experience, including Virtual Machines and Networking
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
• CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins
• Strong troubleshooting skills across SQL Server, Windows, networking, and infrastructure components

Site Reliability Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• MongoDB administration
• Cassandra administration
• Linux administration
• Kubernetes
• Financial services experience

Site Reliability Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 4 days in the office.
