Site Reliability Engineer x2:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Site Reliability Engineer for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Site Reliability Engineer x2 - Job Description:
This project involves supporting new in-house developed software and infrastructure for a critical environment. The role focuses on deploying, managing, and operating complex applications in a Cloud environment, with a strong emphasis on Azure services.

Site Reliability Engineer x2 - Responsibilities:
• Deploy, manage, and operate complex applications in a Cloud environment
• Code for automation using shell script, Powershell, and Python
• Address and resolve complex development-related issues
• Monitor and log infrastructure, services, and applications
• Configure and manage big data technologies and databases

Site Reliability Engineer x2 - Mandatory Skills:
• Windows administration and Powershell experience
• Databricks experience
• Cloud experience with Azure Services including IaaS, IaC, ASP
• Experience with configuration management tools like SALT, Terraform, Ansible, or CHEF
• Development/Engineering experience with Powershell, Bash, Shell, Python
• Experience with tools like Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket, Nexus

Site Reliability Engineer x2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Azure certifications
• Experience in ASP infrastructure setup and configuration
• Knowledge of various approaches to data storage and indexing
• Strong engineering mindset and sense of ownership
• Excellent troubleshooting skills

Site Reliability Engineer x2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion.
