Site Technology Lead:
On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a Site Technology Lead for a 12 month contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Victoria, British Columbia office.

Site Technology Lead - Job Description:
The Site Technology Lead is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IT services at the Malahat and Victoria B.C. sites, ensuring a high-quality user experience and reliable site operations. This role involves acting as the primary local IT point of contact, collaborating with regional and global IT teams to deliver consistent, business-aligned services.

Site Technology Lead - Responsibilities:
• Own and manage all site IT operations, including end-user support and local infrastructure coordination
• Deliver strong user experience through responsive, professional, and proactive support
• Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive preventive improvements
• Collaborate across IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth service delivery
• Ensure adherence to IT processes such as incident, request, change, and problem management
• Use ServiceNow ITSM or equivalent tools to manage and track work
• Maintain accurate CMDB and asset management data across the device lifecycle
• Use service metrics and operational data to prioritize work and drive continuous improvement
• Support site initiatives, onboarding, executive/VIP support, and key business events

Site Technology Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience in IT site support, workplace services, or service delivery
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), CMDB, and asset management
• Broad technical knowledge of end-user computing and site IT operations
• Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Comfortable working with data, metrics, and structured processes
• Working knowledge of Networking and Connectivity to support the site autonomously

Site Technology Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, lab, or operational sites
• Familiarity with ITIL-based service management practices
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and Lean techniques of problem-solving
• Experience in conference room technology and collaboration tools
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and operational risk considerations

This is a 12 month contract position.
