Software Developer - API - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - API - Senior for a 12-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Software Developer - API - Senior - Job Description:
Join a critical project delivery for the Government Services Integration Cluster, focusing on new API and AI software development. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies to build and integrate APIs and AI solutions for government projects.

Software Developer - API - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested solutions
• Develop detailed programming specifications and generate code
• Analyze, design, develop, code, and implement programs for Web and Rich Internet Applications
• Support applications with system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting
• Design and develop REST API platforms and convert web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during software package operation

Software Developer - API - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience with React framework and TypeScript
• 5+ years of experience with Node.js and Next.js
• 5+ years of experience building and testing RESTful APIs
• 2-3+ years of experience with Multi-agent (Agentic AI), LLMops, MCP, langchain, langGraph, RAG, Qdrant, Python
• Experience with ML models - XGboost, Tensorflow

Software Developer - API - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Web Technologies (DHTML, AJAX, etc.)
• Experience with Security frameworks (e.g., JWT, OATH2)
• Experience with Integration frameworks (e.g., Mule, Camel)
• Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices

Software Developer - API - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
