Software Developer - Back End - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Back End - Senior for a 5-month role. This position is onsite with 5 days at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Software Developer - Back End - Senior - Job Description:
The project involves developing and maintaining large-scale multi-client web applications. The focus is on enhancing the product's extensibility and maintainability using microservice architecture principles.

Software Developer - Back End - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Manage the interchange of data between the server and the users
• Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications
• Develop detailed programming specifications and write code
• Compile data-driven programs and conduct unit tests
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during software package use and operation

Software Developer - Back End - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer in large-scale multi-client web applications
• 10+ years of hands-on Java development with Oracle or SQL database
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with RestAPI, RESTful WebServices
• Knowledge and experience of microservice architecture
• Experience using Azure DevOps
• Understanding of security gateways and protocols (JWT, Oauth2.0, SSL Certificates)
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies

Software Developer - Back End - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
• Experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies
• Experience with middleware and gateways
• Experience reviewing and modifying product installation scripts
• Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) standards

Software Developer - Back End - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 5-month contract position.

ASAP.

Software Developer - Back End - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite with 5 days in the office.
