Software Developer - ETL - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - ETL - Senior for a 6-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Software Developer - ETL - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical project, focusing on data warehousing and BI development. The project requires new development efforts to enhance data warehousing capabilities and support BI reporting.

Software Developer - ETL - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Perform analysis, design, development, unit testing, and defect fixing in a data warehousing and BI environment using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Design, develop, and test Informatica mappings.
• Develop ETL scripts to transfer and transform data from OLTP databases to Data Warehouses and Data marts.
• Develop and maintain BOE reports.
• Communicate progress clearly and timely to the management team.

Software Developer - ETL - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, BI environment analysis, design, and development.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing Crystal reports, Power BI, and BOE reports.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing in Informatica.
• Experience with technology solutions and development methodologies.
• Complete knowledge of SDLC methodologies, e.g., Agile development.
• Experience with Data Warehouse architecture, design, and deployment of BI systems.

Software Developer - ETL - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications.
• Experience with middleware and gateways.
• Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project teams.
• Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related standards.
• Ability to provide user and system documentation as required.

This is a 6-month contract position.
